The Write Place is run by writers for writers. Members volunteer to ensure our studios always provide a welcoming creative space that is a pleasure to work in, a kind of home-from-home but without the distractions.

Directions
From Cattle Market or North Parade car park, head for the wrought-iron gates that lead into the River House Café courtyard. Enter Black Swan Arts via the double doors, walk through the cafe, go up the stairs to the 2nd floor.
Access is also available via the Black Swan Arts shop on Justice Lane from 10am – 4pm, Tuesday to Saturday.
Accessibility
There is a ramp to enter the main building and a lift to the 1st floor (to visit the Gallery), but 16 quite steep stairs to the 2nd floor and The Write Place.
